Serial Peaky Blinders Terhadap Gaya Berpakaian Kalangan Anak Muda Di Era Modern

This research explores the influence of the British crime drama series Peaky Blinders on the fashion style of young people, particularly in Indonesia, in the context of social media. The series, created by Steven Knight, features not only compelling crime stories but also a strong visual aesthetic, with characters wearing three-piece suits, vests, flat caps and shiny leather shoes. This style of dress has become a visual icon adopted by many fans around the world, including the younger generation active on the TikTok platform. Through content analysis, this study identifies the style elements of the series that are adopted and re-contextualized by young people, and how this process creates a dynamic and relevant visual identity. The results show that social media serves as a content production space that allows young people to express themselves, innovate and build communities based on common interests. This research sheds light on how popular culture acts as an intricate and interactive tool for forming social identities in the modern era. It also creates opportunities for further research into the relationship between media, fashion and identity among young people.
